Our Rates Explained:

Our ‘Time On Site’ Rate – This rate depends on the type of tradesmen you need and when you need them. Before we can fix or replace anything, one of our team needs to carry out an investigation, then we can provide a fixed cost to complete the job. The team will carry out the investigation before starting any work (unless there is an immediate need to prevent damage to your property or its contents).

Once the investigation is complete, our team can give you an itinerary of the required work and a fixed completion cost. it is then up to you to decide whether you require the team to carry on at this price or not.

Should you wish not to go ahead at the quoted price, you will only have to cover the cost of the time for the investigation. Our investigations are charged at a minimum of one hour, after that in half-hour increments. If you decide for our team to carry out the work, the investigation time will be included in the total cost.

Our ‘Fixed Price Work’ Rate – We can provide you with a set price when booking a job if you are looking for inspections, surveys, reports and some elements of pest control. With these services, we usually know the scope of the work our team arrive. The time we spend on these jobs will not effect the cost.

We would quote separately as ‘Scoped Works’ if a repairs, replacements or unexpected additional work is needed when carrying out a set price job. We will usually quote for the additional works while on the original job, then it is your choice whether you wish to have them carried out or not.

Our ‘Scoped Work’ Rate – When planning property refurbishments, installations or large renovation works, one of our team will make a full detailed list of the requirements before you incur any cost. A member of our team will visit your property to discuss what you need, we will then provide a detailed plan of works needed along with a fixed price quote to complete.

When a ‘scoped work’ job is quoted, the cost of the job will not change unless the plans change on the job from our original scope. Should the need for additional labour, materials or parts arise, we ensure the cost will originally quoted is what you will pay.

Note: If we were originally booked to do a ‘Time On Site’ job, and we are then asked to advance to a ‘Scope of Work’ job, the time taken to do the investigation, write the new plans and quoting for the job will be charged.
